Our Philosophy of Education

M. A. Evans Academy is an educational program based on the philosophy that young children learn best in an environment that affords them the opportunity to explore, discover and enjoy the learning process through experiences with structured and hands-on learning activities.

 

We Seek to......

  • Provide a safe, healthy, nurturing and culturally responsive setting for children

  • support children's development by recognizing individual differences, helping children learn about cooperation, and promoting a healthy self-image

  • Work with families to bring about a relationship between home and school that will enhance the child's educational experience

  • Provide a learning experience for the whole child; physically, mentally, and socially

  • To encourage and foster independence and socialization in school-age children within a caring educational environment
